Neno is Co-founder and Managing Partner of NLC Capital Partners. He is responsible for the firm’s overall management, strategy and development, and chairs NLC’s Investment Committee. He oversees the firm’s investment activities, capital strategy, product development and growth.

Neno co-founded NLC to broaden institutional access to the fund finance market and build a dedicated investment platform around the asset class. Under his leadership, NLC has developed into a leading independent fund finance investment manager, providing institutional investors with access to fund finance assets through a range of capital-efficient structures.

Prior to founding NLC, Neno was Head of Fund Solutions Sales and Distribution at Investec. In that capacity, he built and scaled the division’s capital-raising platform, securing its initial institutional commitments and growing it into a multi-billion-euro third-party capital business. He was an early pioneer in opening the fund finance asset class to institutional investors, working with rating agencies to develop methodologies for rating fund finance assets and creating investment structures tailored to the regulatory and capital requirements of different investor groups. This experience helped shape the strategy and institutional model on which NLC was subsequently founded. Neno also served on Investec’s Fund Solutions Investment Committee.

Previously, Neno worked within Investec’s New York-based Fund Solutions platform, focusing on fund finance origination and transaction structuring.

Originally from Croatia, Neno moved to New York to attend university. He began his career at Lloyds Banking Group within the Financial Institutions team, with a focus on fund finance.

Neno holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
